This video was shot fully through a DIY lens adaptor. I built an adaptor that allows me to attach a 35mm lens to my camcorder. Def a cool gadget, but I think I need a better macro lens in the system. I noticed some distortion along the edges. I shot this video back in early spring, during our last snow melt; and just now found time to check the footage and get it edited. Not sure if I will continue to use this adaptor or not (need new macro for sure). With DSLR’s getting better and better at shooting video’s, even pro lens adaptor companies are chilln on adaptor production. Anyhow, with my video editing; I am still (prob always) in a very experimental stage. I may have over done the effects a bit in the first half, but had fun playing and learning through the process. It really is all about the process, you know, the journey.

wow! that might be my favorite edit of yours yet.. the lens looked pretty cool too. distortion at the edges just sets the attention right on the climber, which is what you’re looking at in this vid anyways. did you make those tunes? they set the tone so well. guess i better go bouldering now that just got me freaking psyched!!

This is really good. The close ups of the holds emphasize the difficulty which is hard to capture on film. You should submit this one to DPM.
