OK, I usually do not rant, but. The video for Divide Before Nothingness, has been a bit drawn out, and a bit epic. I have spread myself a little thin this winter into spring, and it has taken some time for me to get this vid together.

The editing has been done for a solid week now. The issue, some compression glitch, is driving me Crazy. I am attempting one more work around to get this looking right. Really hope to have it up soon.

My friend and I worked this problem over the last 3 or 4 visits and haven’t been able to send.  I FINALLY figured out how to do it but he wasn’t there, so I made the video to piss off my friend   Nothing wrong with a little bragging

Every once in a while you realize how small the world is.  I was in the Gunks the weekend with Shipp and Sarah and we met up with a New Paltz local, Holly, and her friend Mike. At dinner that night, Mike and I were talking about age and I brought up the Gus story from July last year with the high balling older fella. Well turns out Mike knows him really well and has been climbing with him for years.  This cat is a total bad ass, this May he will be turning 80 and will be in the Gunk’s for a little High E. I sent Mike the link from Gus’s blog and he loved it, he can’t wait to share it with him. So if your in the Gunks this May and you see a grey head hiking up High E, yell Happy Birthday Mike!

It may be April first, but this past winter Travis Gault crushed out at Whiskey Springs.
