I have had a few videos just hanging around and I have never posted them. So, here is the first video I ever edited. One from Joe’s Valley 2007. I may put these old vids up on the blog occasionally for some random entertainment. Hope you enjoy!

I hope everyone is having a great winter. The winter here at the New has been interesting. Around Christmas we got dumped with two ft of snow and haven’t been able to shake it. The freezing temps have finally broken and most of the snow has gone, so hopefully I will be able to start ticking off my long list of projects. This winter hasn’t been completely devoid of climbing though I have only been climbing one or two days a week which is an adjustment for me. Towards the end of a hellish stretch of weather where it didn’t break thirty degrees for about two weeks I took a trip to Rumbling Bald. It was my first time there and I had an amazing trip and got tons of climbing in. Unfortunately it was a solo mission so I didn’t get pictures except this one.. you can click to enlarge pics.

the next two pictures are of a really nice boulder with four lines on the downhill face. One is a great v6ish line and the rest are still projects.

the wave dyno proj. thin crimps end half way up the wave and then an enormous dyno to the lip. I have not stuck the dyno but can get the distance and have practiced holding the swing. probably v11

Well, I finally had some time to finish the Crimp Tonight vid. It was probably 3 weeks ago, I went out with Matt Snyder.

He had recently sent this thing and crush a few more times for camera, awesome. Not really sure what it is rated, but the first move is tuff for me. I went with v7-8, start a poll. No Matter the grade, Crimp Tonight climbs so nice. This line was first sent Mike Stewart many moons ago from the middle crimps. Then Jolie M. added the low start, this really added a little more crimp to the night. So close to doing the low start, its just in my head.

I made the special effects using after effects.  It’s a sweet program.  I learned how to use it by watching tutorials from videocopilot.net.
